1.1. Carpatia Retezat accommodation services are provided by REAL ESTATE IMOBILIARE SRL, tax ID (CUI) 19239662, Trade Register No. J2006002181026, registered office at Calea Timișorii 147, Arad, Arad County, 310229, Romania.

2.1. Bookings can be made online on this website, or by phone or email.
2.2. Online bookings require a deposit of at least 50% of the total amount; you may also pay in full.
2.3. Your booking is confirmed automatically by email once the deposit is received. For bank transfers, the confirmation is sent once the amount reaches our account.
2.4. The remaining balance is paid on arrival or by bank transfer at least 48 hours before check-in.
2.5. By placing a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
3.1. Check-in: between 14:00 and 21:00.
3.2. Check-out: by 11:00.
3.3. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.
3.4. Guests must present a valid ID document at check-in.
4.1. Under art. 16(l) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (implementing Directive 2011/83/EU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period. Cancellations follow the cancellation policy below.
5.1. Cancellation more than 14 days before arrival: the deposit is refunded in full.
5.2. Cancellation 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
5.3. Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: the deposit is not refunded.
5.4. No-show: the deposit is retained.
5.5. Cancellations must be made in writing, to the email address below. Refunds are made within 14 days, using the same payment method.
6.1. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents.
6.2. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins. A penalty of 500 RON applies for violations.
6.3. Pets are allowed only with prior approval. The fee is 60 RON/day for small or medium pets (up to 12 kg) and 100 RON/day for large pets (over 12 kg).
6.4. The maximum occupancy of the cabin must be respected at all times.
6.5. Quiet hours: 22:00 – 08:00.
7.1. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests' personal belongings, except where the law provides otherwise.
7.2. Guests take part in outdoor activities at their own risk.
7.3. We recommend appropriate travel and health insurance.
8.1. In case of extreme weather, natural disasters or other force majeure events, we reserve the right to cancel the booking, with a full refund of the amounts paid.
9.1. Guest data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
9.2. Data is used for booking management, invoicing and legal obligations.
We try to resolve any complaint amicably, at the contact details below. Consumers may also turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and to alternative dispute resolution: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal.
